Everything in Moderation…

Now it’s time for me to share my secrets with you!

My name is Mel and I am a 26 year old female. I am married and love my hubby, I love good food (especially chocolate), I love exercising (especially big long walks with my dog), I love shopping, spending time with friends and family and I am obsessed with my dog, Cooper!

I like to think of myself as your key example of doing things in moderation. I have never in my life done a proper diet and I have never become obsessive with exercise. Even before my wedding, I just cut out snacking after dinner and slightly increased the amount of exercise I was doing. I don’t think diet’s are so realistic (well at least for me) because as soon you stop the diet – the weight comes straight back on. I eat 3 normal sized meals a day and I have green tea and small snacks in between. Healthy snacking that is. Slim Secrets to me is a perfect snack alternative – especially for when I am having my real chocolate cravings! There’s nothing a Slim Secrets Mintabolism Bar or a Designer Choc Chip Cookie can’t fix!! I exercise most days, even if it’s just a 30minute walk with my dog.

Hold on, I have just remembered that I have dieted once in my life. It was when I was about 16 years old. I went on a chocolate diet for about 1 year – no chocolate for a whole year!! And now I am in love with chocolate more than ever. And this is the point that I am getting at. If you let yourself enjoy the good things in life (in moderation) – it will help you from binging or becoming obsessive over things and that goes for exercise too. Try to exercise in moderation and mix it up – otherwise you will get sick of what you are doing.

Someone wise once told me (it was definitely my mum) – that if you are not enjoying it and it’s not worth it, then don’t eat it! This plays on my mind often. Think about this next time you bite into a piece of food and think ‘ewww this isn’t really that nice’ – rather than continuing to eat, put it down – it’s really not worth it!

Slim Secrets Snacks are not just great for dieting and weight loss – they are also fantastic for your everyday people, like me! You need to find what works for you so you can stick to it – you want to look good and feel good, inside and out!
